James Paul Enos Sr., 51, of Hilo died June 11 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired state parks caretaker and Hawaii Army National Guard veteran. Celebration of life service noon 5-p.m. Saturday, July 8, Wailoa State Park first pavilion. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by wife, Valerie Enos of Hilo; sons, Jessie (Christina) Nunes of Mountain View and James Enos Jr. and Jarrin Enos of Hilo; daughters, Lisa Nunes of Hawaiian Beaches and Javelyn Enos and Jeantel Enos of Hilo; brother, Loren Danford of Hilo; sister, Cheryl (Shellford) Cantan of Orchidland; mother-in-law, Vivian Velez of Hilo; stepfather, Robert Willacker of Hilo; grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
